Here in Garden Grove, California, there is plenty to offer everyone regardless of age, tastes and skills.
Celebrating the city's agricultural heritage, the 45-year-old annual Strawberry Festival is held during Memorial Day weekend, and is one of the largest community festivals in the western United States containing over 250,000 visitors each year. Outside of this festival there are at least four other annual festivals that celebrate the country's cultural diversity.
Aside from the festivities that are held within Garden Grove itself, there is also a wide range of activities and places for you to travel that are only a short distance away. Less than a mile away is the world famous park Disneyland; seven miles away is the Knott's Berry Farm; nine miles from the beautiful Carolina beaches, and only a few minutes away from the Mojave Desert and San Bernardino Mountains.
